It’s time to officially announce the biggest, most sensible event of 2016, Sensible Days!
This year the 13th annual Sensible Soccer World Championships will take place in Bornerbroek (Almelo) in the Netherlands.
After all these years it’s amazing that the game is still going strong, and the community ever stronger.
Sensi Days is THE opportunity to finally meet up with those players you see online, and to finally be able to chat using proper words
instead of only ooo, hf, gl, adf and so on and so on.
The location is the same as used for Sensi Days IX. A tournament which is warrants its place in SWOS history for some
magnificent matches like Lobo vs Bomb (penalty shoot out), the amazing DjowGer vs Playaveli PC Final and Ali’s march to the Amiga title.
As always there will be two main tournaments (PC SWOS and Amiga SWOS), two side tournaments (Classic Sensi and X-Box)
and hopefully a few surprises (oranges and apples anyone?)
Dagblad Tubantia did already a story on the sensidays last week. On Saturday they send a proper reporer Martin Ruesink who did a in dept story on the days. Playaveli is quoted and Romanista and RocknRoll are mentioned.
We’ve arrived in Almelo at 5 o’clock, drank some shultenbrau, and then started organising.. We installed the CD32, folded the magazines (online tomorrow at three!), shove some tables around and looked at the drawing pots…And tested the local cuisine.
Oh and we made all the obvious jokes… from onions to shultenbrau…
